Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Cheesy Ranch Mixture

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix or 3 tablespoons homemade
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese sharp cheddar works best
  • 4 strips cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil a baking dish.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ranch seasoning, sour cream, cream cheese, and half of the shredded cheddar. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Arrange chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Spread the cheesy ranch mixture generously over each piece.
  • Top with crumbled bacon and the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Broil for 2-3 minutes if desired for a crispier top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Swap sour cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Use turkey bacon and reduced-fat cheese for healthier alternatives. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
